Crystle Wee

Crystle Wee is a Singaporean marine biologist and AIMS@JCU PhD candidate whose work focuses on coral reef restoration.

In this Reef Talk, Crystle shared her 10-year journey across marine science, from marine education and dolphin cognition research to coral relocation projects and oil spill response, and how these experiences led her into coral reef restoration research. She also introduced her current PhD work on the ReefSeed Project, an innovative coral seeding technology designed to help restore reefs in remote coral communities.
